Same. After 2 goes at running for re-election, you'd have to wonder, wouldn't you. "I'm everyone's 2nd bestest candidate twice around" is not a good look.
But it's interesting that, if those 2 elections were a representative sample, could we say that a majority of students have both times rejected: my stance on upfront fees and fees generally; have rejected the need for the Uni to adopt GreenPower energy; don't give two hoots about FCCS; and, thankfully, don't give a shit if I get my haircut or not? That is, students are mostly anti- these things and are pro-Howard right wing conservatives?
No. I think it's more a case of popularity of the candidate over merit, but of course, just saying that makes it look like a case of sour grapes on my part, so methinks I better just shut up.
