yes like when one has an issue like access to services and experiences age discrimination, or has a problem with a lectuer or faculty, ive also notices a bracket creep backtowards the exams rather than assignments. which is an issue that the union fought hard for (from what ive been told)
Not the union, the students association (SAFU)
what has happened to unionism on campus? does the NUS still do anything, i wrote to the state NUS rep a week ago and have heard nothing back from them.
As far as I know FlindersOne (which is the closest thing we have to a student org) is not affiliated with NUS.
i value the importance of a union representative for mature age students too. I wrote to MASA at the beginning of the week and havent heard back from them. where does a student turn to for student rights?
I think MASA are more concerned with coffee and biccies these days. Supposed to be FlindersOne's problem. But good luck with that.
