Title: wireless network in Uni Post by: sharkrules on Tuesday, 03, June, 05:16 Has anyone here tried downloading things via uni Wireless network?
I know that we do have a quota per day. But seriously I do download lots of things which far exceed 32 MB and looks nothing happened. ??? Firstly, I feel guilty for occupying the network for personal downloading. ;D But secondly, I wonder why the downloading speed is still maintained in a relatively stable "high" speed. Does anyone know the reason? Title: Re: wireless network in Uni Post by: Mia on Thursday, 05, June, 10:42 I don't think the wireless is covered. Although it seems to slow down after 80 MB...
I don't think the 32 mb limit is working anyway. I have not had the screen come up and ask me to log in for the internet for ages!! Title: Re: wireless network in Uni Post by: May_dreamer on Wednesday, 23, July, 03:40 Same here. I haven't had it at all and I've been skimming through Facebook, Myspace etc. despite a) being under 18 (apparaently there was some form that I had to sign, but I haven't and nothing's happened) and b) the photos being large!
As far as network coverage goes, I'd have to agree, although I use it mostly to talk to people on MSN. Click here to return to Flinders uni forum
